We've been in the Tech Recruitment Industry for over a decade. We've learned there is a lot of bullshit in Tech Recruitment, causing many companies and tech professionals to loath recruiting.

 

Agencies charge a 25% Finder's Fee, causing companies trying to find any loop hole they can, not to pay that finder's fee. And we don't blame them! 40,000 to hire a person? Come on!

 

Corporate Recruiters work ridculous hours in order to  acheive hiring demands that don't even exist. Purple Squirrels? No one can find a purple squirrel or a unicorn. Neither are Real! So instead of consulting one on one with Hiring Managers to navigate the Real Hiring Market, recruiters get burned out, give up, and Hiring Managers are left frustrated & empty handed.  

 

And don't even get us started on Hourly Recruitment! When a recruiter works hourly they earn more the longer it takes to fill a position. There is no incentive for a contract hourly recruiters to fill that role quickly. Plain & Simple. But hiring managers need roles filled yesterday! So they are left with roles filled at the final hour 8, 10, 15, 20 weeks down the line. Many times causing them to go back to Option A. Agencies.
